HOW MUCH BEEF IS IN A QUARTER?

A quarter beef share typically yields between 105 to 110 pounds of packaged, frozen meat. You will receive a premium assortment of high-end steaks (like ribeyes, strips, and filets), savory roasts, and versatile ground beef.

HOW MUCH FREEZER SPACE DO I NEED FOR A QUARTER COW?

A quarter beef typically requires about 4 to 5 cubic feet. We highly recommend a standalone chest or upright freezer for your bulk beef share.

ARE YOUR CATTLE GIVEN VACCINES, ANTIBIOTICS, OR HORMONES?

Our cattle are never treated with antibiotics, added hormones, or mRNA vaccines

WHAT IS THE BREED OF CATTLE?

Our momma cows are a combination of Brangus, Braford, or Red Angus genetics. They are bred to Red Angus bulls. Their calves are what make up our beef program. This crossbreed is able to thrive in Florida’s harsh environment, while still providing exceptional marbling for top-quality cuts of healthy and flavorful beef.

The Brahman influence makes it possible for the cows and their calves to stand up to the heat, humidity, and insects here in Florida. The genetic influence from English breeds helps with the marbling of the meat. A well-marbled cut is more tender and flavorful than other beef. This marbling also keeps the meat moist when it’s cooking.

IS YOUR BEEF LOCALLY RAISED IN FLORIDA?

Yes, All of our beef is locally raised Florida beef.

Florida’s ranches typically operate at a cow/calf level, meaning their cows have a calf each year and raise it until weaning, at which point it is shipped to a state that can produce feed for the animal to continue growing on.

How We're Different

Instead of selling calves at weaning, we raise our cows here in Citrus County and sell the beef directly to local customers. This allows us to connect with our consumers directly, helping to bridge that gap from farm to fork, and educate consumers about Florida’s beef industry and its rich heritage.

DO YOU USE SUSTAINABLE RANCHING TECHNICS?

Our traditional raching methods ensure a natural and wholesome approach to ranching. By focusing on quality nutrition and ethical care, we produce beef you can trust—pure, natural, and raised the way nature intended.

  • Shipping

Orders ship every Tuesday afternoon to ensure freshness. Your order will be delivered with dry ice, ensuring they’re still frozen solid upon delivery to your doorstep!

  • Pick-Up At The Ranch

Experience buying your beef right where it was raised and grazed! The Ranch Store is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What Makes Our Beef Different?

Our cattle are always on pasture meaning that they have a diverse diet  and an active lifestyle. Resulting in a richer, more complex flavor profile.

We minimize stress to the animals - in everything from environment, to animal handling, all the way through processing.

Additionally our all natural beef is 14 day dry-aged, resulting in extremely tender, flavorful cuts of beef.
