Boston Butt
Boston Butt
Discover the delicious versatility of the Boston Butt, specifically the renowned Boston butt. Contrary to its name, this cut does not come from a pig's backside; instead, it is sourced from the front end of the pork shoulder, right behind the neck. Often sold in two pieces at grocery stores, the Boston butt (or "blade roast") boasts a rich flavor and tenderness that makes it a favorite among home cooks and barbecue enthusiasts alike.
This cut is perfect for various cooking methods, allowing you to create mouthwatering dishes with ease:
- **Slow Cooker**: Perfect for those busy days; simply season and let your slow cooker do the work for juicy pulled pork.
- **Smoked or Baked**: Achieve that smoky flavor profile many crave by smoking or baking your Boston butt to perfection.
- **Grilled Pork Butt Steaks**: Cut into steaks for a unique grilling experience that will impress your guests.
- **Pulled Pork Tacos**: Shred it up and serve in tacos for an unforgettable meal.
